The walk begins at the Mini Park and will end at the Edgartown Lighthouse.

Please bring your friends, family and island neighbors to the annual Winter Beach Clean Up along Sengekontacket Pond and its barrier beach. Friends of Sengekontacket will be supplying gloves, bags, hot chocolate and donuts! Free Santa hat for first 25 volunteers! Come with a warm coat and and walking shoes.
State Beach and it’s delicate shore needs your help! Please check in at Little Bridge for an area to cover and return your bag to Little Bridge when complete! We will be ready for you to arrive anytime between 9am - 11am.

A time honored tradition, Edgartown’s version of a tree lighting is full of seaside village charm. Thank you to the MV Museum for the annual holiday lighting of the Edgartown Lighthouse, which takes place at 6pm sharp, with help from Martha’s Vineyard 4-H.

Come celebrate with us at Memorial Wharf for a great viewing spot and countdown! Beginning at 5:30 PM Edgartown’s favorite mascots, non-profit concessions by the Martha’s Vineyard Boys & Girls Club, caroling, give-aways and maybe the Man In Red himself! As we near the shortest and darkest day of the year, it is helpful to remember the warm, inner hearth that nurtures us through the year. In honor of the holiday season, we invite you to join us in gathering at Mytoi on Chappaquiddick. On this self-guided walk, explore the luminary-lit garden and reflect on your year since the last solstice. Share a wish or hope for the coming year, and tie your message to the winding bridge to share with others. Hot cocoa will be served throughout the event. Member and non-member pricing available.
